As an educator, consultant, program leader, researcher, scholar, workshop facilitator, and presenter, I strive to make the arts and arts education a meaningful part of every person's life.
Ever since my high school arts programs were eliminated due to Proposition 2 1/2, I have been on a mission to ensure that ALL people have access to the arts and arts education.

I am an internationally recognized expert in accessible arts education for all students in all contexts.
I have spent more than 20 years:
- creating and leading direct service arts education programs for people with disabilities of all ages;
- developing and sharing pedagogical frameworks and tools for all educators to increase the accessibility of their teaching;
- teaching pre-service and in-service educators
- conducting, writing, and sharing research- and practice-based publications
- collaborating with individuals, organizations, and program leaders on accessibility and education
and much more!
